Mario was a kind, good hearted man that came to know the Lord and trust God. In the middle of his life, he enjoyed reading his bible and was very proud of his son, daughter, and granddaughter.

Mario is survived by his wife: Magdalena Garza; his daughter: Julia M. Garza; his siblings: Humberto Garza and Maria Franco; his grandchild: Marcela J. Garza; his nephew: Jose Angel Ramirez; his nieces: Azucena Ramirez and Elvira (Biby) Granados.
Mario was preceded in death by his son: Mario Arturo Garza †; his parents: Francisco Garza † and Juana Cisneros Garza †.
A visitation for Mario will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7 pm in Chapel of Angels, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A chapel service will occur Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 12:00 PM in Chapel of Angels, 125 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521. A burial will occur Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Buena Vista Burial Park, 5 Mcdavitt Blvd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
Serving as pallbearers are: Jose Angel Ramirez, Eddie Garcia, Juan Granados and JJ Granados.
