Maria enjoyed nothing more than having her home filled with her children, grandchildren and all other family and friends. Her door was always open; Maria did not know a stranger. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, shopping, dining out, praying and guiding those around her to do the same. She knew God and leaned on him for comfort through her life. Marias favorite part of the day was her morning coffee where she would sit at her breakfast table, have breakfast and talk about everything and anything. Her sister Chabela, always there to accompany her in this morning routine. If our dear Maria taught us anything it's that family is everything. She built a strong and beautiful foundation that her family will continue to carry on. She will be sorely missed and although we cry for her today, we find comfort in the long and beautiful life she lived and all of the memories she leaves us with. (LA LEONA)
