Delia, born in Brownsville, Tx., residing in Katy, Tx., at the time of her passing. She will now be reunited in heaven with her mother Leandra F. Martinez V., father Fernando Villarreal and brother George Villarreal. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memories are her four children Flor Estella (Jose) Delgadillo, Alma Delia (Ernesto) Lara, Lidia Luz Alaniz, and Jose Fernando (Claudia) Alaniz, brother Rene R. (Georgina) Villarreal, grandchildren; April Ortiz, Jose Ortiz, Brianna Delgadillo, Bianca Delgadillo, Amber Alaniz, Leslie Nevarez, Lora Martinez and Eric Lara, great grandchildren; Adriel Nevarez, Adrien Nevarez and Aiden Nevarez.
Prior to moving to Katy, Tx. She dedicated 20(+) years to Hagger company and spent weekends enjoying herself at the Bingo, venturing out to downtown Brownsville, Amigoland Mall and Sunday Family BBQ's. Upon retiring she chose to move to Katy, Tx. with her daughter Flor to help care for her grandchildren but remained connected to her roots in Brownsville. She has touched the lives of so many with her unconditional love, generosity and kindness. Always kept everyone in her prayers and expressed herself by saying, "God bless you, take care and I love you".
Pallbearers will be Jose Fernando Alaniz, Jose G. Delgadillo, Jose Ortiz Jr., Eric Lara, Rene R. Villarreal Jr. Adriel Nevarez, and Adrien Nevarez. Honorary pallbearer will be Aiden Nevarez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 1pm - 9pm with a rosary to be recited at 7pm in Chapel of Angels. The mass will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 2pm followed by a burial at Buena Vista Burial Park.
