Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his parents Isidro Hernandez and Maria Concepcion Garcia.
Manuel D. Hernandez is survived by his loving wife, Josefina G. Hernandez; his sons Victor Manuel (Noemi) Hernandez, Gerardo Luis Hernandez and Oscar Hernandez; his daughters Susana H. (Marco) Castillo, Norma H. (Gonzalo) Garcia; his grandchildren, Marco A. Castillo, Mason A. Castillo, Manuel A. Garcia, Jesus J. Garcia, Laura A. Garcia, Gerardo Hernandez, Bryan Hernandez, Cristina Hernandez and Oscar Hernandez Jr.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by many. Mr. Hernandez retired from Marathon Letourneau.
Visitation for Mr. Hernandez will be from 12pm to 9pm, Friday, June 14, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista with a Holy Rosary at 7pm.
A Funeral Mass will take place at Christ the King Catholic Church on 2255 Southmost Rd, in Brownsville, Texas at 10 am on Saturday, June 15, 2013, with a committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be Marco A. Castillo Jr., Mason A. Castillo, Gerardo Hernandez, Manny A. Garcia, Jesse J. Garcia, Gonzalo Garcia and Marco A. Castillo.
