Julio Alvear Plata, age 51, of Brownsville, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Julio is survived by his wife; Norma Vasquez, his sons; Julio S. Alvear (Alexis), Jacob Vasquez Alvear; and Joseph Alvear, his brothers; Luis Artemio, Gerardo (Judy Lee) and Ruben Alvear, his grandchildren; Alizay Alvear and Aiden Alvear.

Julio was preceded in death by his parents; Graciela Alvear † and Ruben Plata †.

Mr. Alvear left behind several brother and sister in-laws, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A mass for Julio will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St Mary's Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Rd, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
