Juanita A. Rodriguez

Our mother Juanita was loved by so many. She always knew how to brighten someone's day and make them feel loved. She treated everyone with kindness and respect. She will be greatly missed by her children and family. She loved working on her roses and loved cooking for her family. She loved her coffee and her favorite was, "Dame cafe o quiero cafe." She rarely got mad and when she did, you knew she had a darn good reason. Our mother was a devoted wife, caring mother and grandmother who loved her family.

Juanita is survived by her son Rodrigo Rodriguez, wife Beatrice Rodriguez; her son Jose Rene Rodriguez, wife Corina Rodriguez; her son Ruben Rodriguez; and her daughter Rachel Rodriguez Alvear, husband Jesus Alvear.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Jose C. Rodriguez "Little Joe"; her son Jose Antonio Avalos; her daughter Norma Linda Reyes;her mother Apolonia T. Avalos and her father Leopoldo Avalos.

Mrs. Rodriguez also leaves 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren to cherish her memory forever.

A visitation for Juanita will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM-9:00 PM, while a rosary will occur at 7:00PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, 4464 Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, TX 78526. A chapel service will occur Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn. Afterwards the burial will be at 11:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd, Brownsville, TX 78526.

Serving as pallbearers are Danny Avalos, Danny Avalos JR., Jose Rosendo Rangel, Rosendo Rangel JR., Rodrigo Rodriguez JR., Rolando Reynosa, David Longoria and Damian Soto.
