Juan was a devout catholic and rejoiced in praising God through prayer. In his younger years he was an aficionado of the art of bullfighting.
He enjoyed his occupation in construction from a very young age. Juan was the preferred foreman in large commercial construction sites for Adams Brothers, a company he worked with for over forty years.
He was very well respected by all who knew and worked with him. "Buelo" always had a story, "dicho", or joke to tell, and enjoyed having fun with his family.
Our family has much gratitude for Dr. Ronaldo Factoriza and his staff for their many years of dependable health service. We also appreciate the professional and compassionate care our father received by many staff members at Alta Vista Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 73 years Panfila Pérez de Galindo, parents Jesus Galindo Vilano, Dorotea González de Galindo and Longina Galindo, sons Horacio Galindo and Juan Galindo Jr., siblings; Guadalupe, Alfredito, Fernando and Dorita Galindo, Ma. de Jesus Maldonado, Carmela González and Ana Maria Silva.
He is survived by his sister Ma. Josefa Rios, daughters; Magdalena Galindo, Socorro Padilla (Alfonso Jr.(deceased)), Juanie García (Juan Jr.(Deceased)), Marta Atkinson (Mark), Maricela Orozco (Rafael Jr.), and Araceli Orive (Gene Jr.). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.
