Celia Rodriguez Sandoval

Celia will always be remembered for her loving nature. She loved animals, cooking, and gardening. She would always say " Everyone gets to be young, but not everyone is lucky enough to grow old " She shared wonderful times with family and friends. She was always willing to help when needed, may she rest in peace.

Celia is survived by her daughter Ana Burguete (Jesse); her son Ricardo Rafael Sandoval (Janie); and her daughter Beanira Leal (Jose Angel); her grandchild Ashley Ann Burguete-Laznovsky, her grandchild Brandon Alexander Burguete, her grandchild Ricardo Rafael Sandoval II, her grandchild Christopher Leal and her grandchild Derrick Jay Leal.

Celia was preceded in death by her husband Rafael Sandoval; her father Jose Rodriguez and her mother Isabel Alaniz Rodriguez.

Mrs. Celia also leaves great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.

A visitation for Celia will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn, 4464 Old Port Isabel Rd., Brownsville, TX 78526. A rosary will occur Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Rose Lawn. A mass will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Dr., Brownsville, TX 78521. A burial will occur Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Alexander Burguete, Jesse Burguete, Ricardo Rafael Sandoval, Ricardo Rafael Sandoval II, Jose Angel Leal, Christopher Leal, Derrick Jay Leal and Troy Laznovsky.
