To Marc and Alexandre and to Peter's sisters and brothers I extend my sadness.  He was always willing to help his Uncle Peter find a car when our family needed one. I recall being at his home for dinner, Peter was an excellent cook. He was very fond of his mother, Aunt Alice and took her to Europe a few times, those trips were very precious to her. 
Peter, you are now with the Angels may you rest in peace.

Cher ami,
Tu viens de nous quitter pour entreprendre le grand voyage vers l’inconnu. Nous en avons souvent discuté au cours de notre belle période d’amitié que nous avons vécus ensemble.
Ce fût l’une des plus belles périodes de ma vie. Te côtoyer, discuter, rires, voyager me rappelle à quel point nous pouvions alors être heureux. Tu pars mais ces  souvenirs resteront inscris dans ma mémoire jusqu’à ce que j’entreprenne le même voyage.

My sincere condolences Marc and Alexandre and the entire Burke family. I have many fond memories of my cousin Peter. I can thank Peter, Walter and Dave for my very first job at age 17, framing bungalows in St. Hubert. I recall Peter gave me a much needed nail driving lesson and soon after I was almost as good as the Garnetts. Peter went with me  and negotiated the purchase of my first car, a rock bottom price no doubt. Peter and Marc brought me along on a ski trip to Quebec City and Mont Ste Anne,  something I had never experienced, with dinners in only the best restaurants. I think back fondly to a wedding when Peter tricked me by saying that I had a phone call, just so he could dance with my girlfriend. Peter was debonair to say the least. In my mind Peter was the 007 of our family. RIP Peter.

Great memories of cousin Peter.  A smart man.  Had a beer with him in the Tilting Club 25 years ago. He had many charming observations about the society that surrounded us. RIP Peter.

Our condolances to the Burke family on the loss of our cousin Peter. I remember being a young girl growing up and looking forward to our older siblings getting together! My sister Nell, brother Naish and brother Pat  are enjoying another kind of get together with Peter now!   Peter was well loved and will be missed!  Barb Dwyer Teeuwsen and family.
