William L. Simpson

He was born November 18, 1924 in Memphis, Tennessee and came to Brooksville 14 years ago from from Hopkinsville, Kentucky.  He served in the United States Army and worked as an engineer with A.M.P.Manufacturing.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Spring Hill, Florida, several orchid clubs and he loved to travel.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma and his son, Stephen.  He is survived by his son, Gary Simpson of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters and son-in-law, Deborah & Norman Bresinski of Tarpon Springs, Florida and Cathy Jones of Brooksville, Florida; sister, Shirley Conrad of New Port Richey, Florida; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am -12:00pm, Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel.  Interment will be private.
