Died fighting on 26 January 2020
A Vietnam Vet, survived by three kids and seven grandkids, “Mr. Bill” was tougher than nails, stronger than a hammer, a man of simple yet impactful words. A fisherman all his life that made all his own gear for the catch. He was a Footballer, Firefighter, Navy Seabee, bulldozer operator, and had a successful 30+ year career with Bell Telephone. Mr. Bill had the most amazing friends that surrounded him and he is looking down now with thanks forever.
Mr. Bill was a real person, knew what he wanted in life nothing more or less and stuck to this all his life without budging an inch. More stubborn than stubborn itself, loved his country, always could find him watching the news or the weather channel only with a lit cigar and larger than life laugh.
Rest well Mr. Bill, Father, and Pop-Pop: Family, friends, and the world already misses you.
