Paulette Marie Ramsey

Born February 27, 1947 in Charlottesville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William and Marian Bates.  She had four siblings, Bill Bates, Sharon Bates, Greg Bates, and Julie Loudenback.

Paulette graduated high school from Hernando High and in her post-graduate attended Pasco Hernando State College.  During her career in accounting and bookkeeping, she worked for Pasco and Hernando County School Boards, Cable Ready, and ended her career working for her son at EL Mejor Inc.  She was Methodist by faith.

With her marriage to Bob Ramsey in 1984, she found her soulmate and true love.  Paulette devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren.  She enjoyed her children’s and grandchildren’s sports activities, LOVED following her Tampa Bay Rays, and attending to her gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Ramsey; three children, Don Griffin Jr., Bobby Griffin, and Bryan Griffin (Bonnie); six grandchildren, True Griffin, Haley Griffin, Christopher Griffin, Brendon Griffin, Madison Griffin, and Blake Griffin.

A Memorial Service will be held from 10:00-11:00am, Friday, June 3, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, with Pastor David Hope officiating.  Interment will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.  Casual dress attire requested by family.
