Mary M. (Magliocco) DiMartino passed away on Oct. 3, 2014 of natural causes in Spring Hill, Florida where she had lived for 14 years .Formerly of Wickford, R.I.She was born in Cranston R.I. on Nov 11, 1928, daughter of John and Anna Magliocco. She graduated from Cranston High School and later attended nursing school. In 1951 she married John DiMartino, who pre -deceased her .Mary was artistic as well as a lover of the arts. She was creative and talented both as a decorator and a gardener. Her homes and yards were always beautiful. It was a talent that she came by naturally. She loved music and theater and the sea. She and her husband owned and operated Sound O Rama in Cranston and The Practical Brass in Wickford for many years. They were members of the Wickford Yacht Club. Mary leaves her son Paul and his wife Victoria, of Wickford, R.I., her daughter Michele DiMartino and her husband Ted Wilczynski of Hardwick, MA .Her grandchildren Marc Wilczynski, Amalia Mullaney and her husband Mike, August DiMartino and his wife Olivia and Cara Wilczynski. She also leaves her new great granddaughter Fiona and her dear friend and caretaker Angie. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy and leaves her brother John and sisters Joan and Donna. She will be greatly missed. Burial will be private. In lieu of cards and flowers donations may be made to a local animal rescue organization.
