Maria Z. Pimentel

PIMENTEL, Maria Z., 76, of Brooksville, Florida passed away July 22, 2023. She was born in Faial Azores, Portugal on May 8, 1947. She was married to Norberto Pimentel on April 26, 1969. Maria was blessed to be a stay at home Wife, Mother, and Grandmother for her awesome family. She had a passion for sewing and knitting. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Pimentel and wife Kristin of Cheney, Washington and Robert Pimentel and wife Dawn of Panama City, Florida; four grandchildren, Mariah Pimentel and partner Cameron Strunk of Ft. Worth, Texas, Andrew Pimentel and wife Tiffani of Cheney, Washington, Audrey and Susan Pimentel of Panama City, Florida; one great-grandson, Sorren Strunk of Ft. Worth, Texas, and one great-granddaughter, Hadley Pimentel of Cheney, Washington. She is preceded in death by her daughter in-law, Lynne Pimentel. She was loved and will always be missed.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Merritt Funeral Home, 2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am, Thursday, July 27, 2023 at St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church, 20428 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34601. A committal service will follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, 14354 Spring Hill Dr., Spring Hill, FL. 34609 at 1:00pm.
