John P. Fallon

FALLON, John P., age 87 of Spring Hill, Florida died Monday, June 12, 2017 at his home.  He was born in the Bronx, New York and came to the area 25 years ago from Northport, New York. He retired after 36 years of teaching middle school at Central School District #4 in Plainview, NY. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.  Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Nancy Julia Fallon of Spring Hill, FL; daughters and sons-in-law: Marianne G. Fallon of New Port Richey, FL; Theresa and Greg Hartmann of Colorado; Pamela and James Pflumm of New York; sons: John P. Jr.; Michael Fallon, both of New York; Andrew Fallon of Treasure Island, FL;  brother: James Fallon of New York; 5 grandchildren: Amanda, Emily Kimberly, Ava and Sonja.  Visitation will be from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00pm, Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Merritt Funeral Home Spring Hill Chapel with vigil at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am, Monday, June 19, 2017 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
