Dorothy "Dot" M. Sapp

She was born November 7, 1935, in Louisville, Kentucky and came to Brooksville 57 years ago from St. Petersburg, Florida.  She worked as a Automobile Title Clerk and at Louie's Bowling Center where she was on a bowling league.  She was a faithful servant of the Lord and an active parishioner of St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Martin Sapp Sr. and her son, Gerald Sapp.  She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Martin Jr. & Debbie Sapp of St. Petersburg, Florida, Christopher Sapp of Williston, Florida, Joseph & Tina Sapp of Brooksville, Florida, and Paul Sapp of Spring Hill, Florida; her daughter and son-in-law, Yolanda M. & Leonard Rausch of Brooksville, Florida; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00pm, Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30pm, Friday, February 25, 2022, at St. Anthony the Abbot Catholic Church, with Reverend Paul Pecchie officiating.  Burial will follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.
