Delbert L. Person

PERSON, Delbert L., age 94, of Spring Hill, Florida died Wednesday May 24, 2017 at his home.  He was born in Valley City, North Dakota and came to the area in 1989 from Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.   He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and a recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was a life member of the VFW, the American Legion and DAV. He is survived by his wife of 56 years:  Norma Person of Spring Hill, FL; sons and daughters-in-law: Allen and Christine Person; Russell and Sharon Weihert; Glenn and Jackie Weihert, all of Wisconsin; daughters and sons-in-law: Audrey and Michael Groom of Illinois; Sharon and Gilbert Chute of Spring Hill, FL; Jeanne Weihert and  Linda Smith; both of  Wisconsin; Leeann Swisher of Michigan; sister: Beverley Whitman of Wisconsin; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter: Marsha Bishop. Inurnment with military honors will be 11:30am, Friday, June 16, 2017 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
