Antoinette "Annie" Frances Holbik

Born on Long Island, and known to family and friends as Annie, she was the wife of the late John Holbik and daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Bertolino. Annie was raised on Long Island and moved to Florida to retire.

Prior to moving to Florida, Annie worked in the family auto parts business. She left the business to pursue her own aspirations as a floral arranger and interior designer.

While working at St. Vincent de Paul, Annie met her husband, John. They welcomed their son John in April 2000, and together built their life in Port Jefferson, New York.

Annie had a huge heart and generous spirit. She loved to travel, especially anywhere warm in the Caribbean, with a beautiful beach and majestic sunset.

Annie will be remembered as a loyal, loving person who always had an ear to listen. She had an open heart and support when needed. Annie loved with her whole heart, if you were lucky enough to be in her circle, it was a blessing.

Annie is survived by her son, John and his life partner, Maggie; her brother, Michael; her sister and brother-in-law, Rose Ann & Michael Dolan; and her sister, Sandy.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held from 3:00-6:00pm, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Merritt Funeral Home-Spring Hill, 4095 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, Florida 34609, where a Memorial Service begins at 6:00pm.

A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am, Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Halifax, Massachusetts.
