Sorry to hear of Al's passing. I served with him at the 282nd in Coventry. He was a great person and will be sadly missed.

My deepest condolences for your loss.  AL was a great friend and confidant. The many years we serve together in the Rhode Island National Guard and all the travel we enjoyed across the world serving our country. Al was always a strong leader and hard worker. He could always be counted on to get the job done and always looked after all of us to make sure we were safe and needed nothing. The Air National Guard Family is truly in sorrow today and will feel the loss of a great man. A wise man said you do not judge a man bye his accomplishments but by the lives he touched and helped. We are all better by having Al in our life. I will truly miss him and he and his family are in my prayers. Tom butts

I was very saddened to hear of Bubba's sudden passing.  Pleasant memories are firmly affixed for in a picture I have of the two of us in our BDUs while sitting on a helicopter during an Air Show many years.  He always made me laugh; this is the first time he has made me cry.  May God draw near to all of you in the days ahead as you mourn his loss and may you be comforted by your many memories of Bubba.

I will miss you Bubba. I hope that you are at peace.......no more pain, no more earthly worries. I'm sure that Mom, Dad, Jack, Grampa and Sean were waiting for you at the gate.
