A devoted member of St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn, Ruth found joy in babysitting, tutoring elementary school children, and sharing her love for learning. Ruth’s straightforward and genuine nature, combined with her caring and protective spirit, touched everyone who knew her. She was known for her contagious smile, quick wit, and sense of humor. Ruth was the life of the party, always making others laugh, and she loved to dance, filling any room she was in with warmth and joy.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A funeral mass will occur Monday, September 30, 2024 from 9:45 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Athanasius' Roman Catholic Church, 6115 Bay Pkwy, Brooklyn, NY 11204. An interment will occur Monday, September 30, 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM at St. John Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379.
