I worked with Marilyn for many years. She was a very, sweet and kind person and always had a kind word. She will truly be missed and i am so sad to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences.

Hello, this is Rosanne Scaturro, a former co-worker of Marilyn's at P.S.268.  I knew her birthday was July 23rd. When I called her at home last week the phone rang without the answering machine picking up, and I became worried.  So today I googled her name, city & zip to find out this awful news. To her sister Carol & nephew Billy - I am so very sorry for your loss.  Marilyn was a kind, gentle person who loved her pets dearly. In the past year, I neglected to send her the usual holiday cards we would exchange and didn't call when I should have. I regret that so much now.  If you want to, please email me. 

I worked with Marilyn at P. S. 268 for many years. We were colleagues. I was saddened fo hear of her passing.  I extend my sincere condolences to the family.  

I was so sadden to hear about the passing of Marilyn Spear. We worked together at P.S. 268 in Brooklyn, New York. My prayers are with her family. God Bless!!🙏🏾

My sympathy to the family. I was principal at PS 268 for 15 years while Marilyn worked there. She was a caring teacher. 

I just found out about the passing of my beloved friend and colleague of PS 268.  I want to convey my sadness and shock to hear about Marilyn’s passing.   Marilyn was of tremendous help to me in my first years at PS 268.  We were also neighbor teachers at the Pre-K wing of the school.  We worked together, supported each other and took field trips together.  Once again, to the family, Billy and Billy’s Mom, also the family of her older brother, please receive my sincere condolences.
