Johnny it’s been a year since your passing  but your very much  alive in my memory You were so gracious with everyone and my heart  still aches John you were the best and I  miss you so much See you Johnny and Thanks R.I.P.

It’s been a year since your departure. But you’re very much alive in my heart. I miss you “Paisano” and I love you.

To my family  , I know how we all feel that Johnny has passed. I grew up with  Johnny , Anthony  , Mario and Maria. I am so sorry for all of u. Aunt Fran  I am praying for u.  U should  be happy for the time u spent wirh Johnny. I cant belueve the pain I feel. U have to know God has a better plan for us. I love and miss all of u. 

John , you were the best next door neighbor anybody could ask for .I’m gonna deeply miss us hanging out talking politics, cars house stuff …just having a scotch or 2 and a few laughs.We’re always here for Kaitlyn , so sorry the trip to house my house in Florida couldn’t take place.Know your in Heaven wait for me on the stoop up there

Magali was a  great mentor and role model to me. One of the greatest humans I’ve ever met. He will be missed dearly. My deepest condolences to his family.

My condolences to the Magali family. As a training officer, I trained John when he first started working for CBP at JFK... He was a smart man with a good sense of humor.... John: May you  find peace in the Lord's arms. You were a good man.

John was one of the kindest, caring most giving person I know. He was truly a prince amongst men.  What I’m going to miss most is all our talks and watching him interact with my sons. He loved them like his own and they admired him more then he would ever know. He would take trips to Jersey to hang out in our yard just to get away from the city. And he always left more relaxed. He would talk about buying the neighbors house. Nicholas and Christopher would have loved having uncle John living next door. You brought a lot of joy to a lot of people. I’ve been in the family more then 30 years and it’s been an honor to have called you brother.  You’ll be forever missed.


Dear Uncle John,

It’s absolutely crazy to me to say you’re not here anymore. I miss your laughs and you jokes already. I miss you coming out to jersey to come hangout with us in the backyard. I miss your calls and your texts about anything and everything. My last text with you was last week saying how I’m so excited to show you my new house and you were telling me how you’re so proud and looking forward to it. None of this even seems real to me. I will forever miss you and I’ll forever be destroyed that I can’t show you anything I do in the future. I just know you’ll be looking down with that big smile because you lived your life your way and it was ( the famous word of uncle John’s) Excellente. Love you uncle John I will forever miss you. 

Uncle Johnny, you were more than just my uncle you were one of my best friends. I’ll never forget all of our memories from staying out till 2 am by the fire just talking away update at the country house to you teaching me how to drink scotch and playing poker on all of our holidays. I’m going to miss your calls and visits out to jersey to come hang out with us. I love you more than anything and now all I can hope is to make you proud as you look over me and all of those who loved you. I miss you so much and I’ll never forget how good of a man you were. I keep having flash backs of seeing your big smile every time we saw each other. The way you would call out my name and laugh followed by a big hug. You will surely be missed by everyone everyday. 

John was a great landlord, the best I ever had. And a great friend. I will sure miss him.

Such a great loss losing a wonderful person. John was a soft spoken kind man that I had the occasion to enjoy a good cigar and scotch with and share his passions which also included making the Sunday sauce. Truly going to be missed.

Growing up Johnny was my favorite person in the world! For 8 years he raised us and treated us like his own. We were so happy to run into him a few weeks ago to catch up. It's very hard to put into words how much I miss you. The house does not feel same.

Whenever something was going on with my health I was sure to get a call from Johnny to tell me a funny story or just to encourage. He is sorely missed.

Worked with John on his first day when he returned from academy Nothing but a true gentleman. What an awesome person I had the pleasure of meeting’s

Truly was the happiest person I’ve ever met. He welcomed me into his family with open arms from the start. Will truly miss him.

In 2019 I finally convinced John to go to Puerto Rico with me. We had such a great time! He used to call me his “Paisano”. I will forever remember you my friend.

I am so saddened to learn of John’s passing. I met him at JFK airport as we were both hired at the same time for US Customs. We attended the academy together where we became colleagues and then good friends. This is a great loss and I am heartbroken for all that knew him. May he rest in peace.
