Damian Catalano

Mr. Damian Catalano, passed at home at the young age of 71. He is survived by his lovely wife Sara and three children Dana, Amanda & Damian and father in law to Carmine & Danielle. Proud Papa to Sebastian, Vincenzo, Marcello, Cameron & Wesley.

Damian is and was a man of many names to all the people that were blessed to be a part of his life . Father to many who walked into his home, Godfather and uncle to all the kids that became family, life long friend to the guys he met as kids in his Brooklyn neighborhood. His honesty and life experience allowed him to always had a lesson or a piece of advise that fit the situation in need.

Damian was an amazing husband, father a great friend, and a welcoming neighbor. He was a a man with many talents. He loved his family, his plants, his shirts, all the dogs, new tattoos and duct tape. Damian's personality shines thru his home and his keen eye for decorating could turn another man's trash into a treasure. His creativity could turn any stick into the missing ornament he needed. His memory will live on in the most random ways, and will put a smile on all of our faces.

A memorial service visitation for Damian will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Frances de Chantal R.C. Church, 1273 58th St, Brooklyn, NY 11219. Interment of cremated remains to follow at The Green-Wood Cemetery, 25th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Damian's memory may be made to Damian's Family to assist with expenses;
