Stuart Alan Seidman, 81, beloved husband, caring father and doting grandfather, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024. Born in the Bronx, NY in September 1943, Stuart spent much of his life in Ramsey, New Jersey, before retiring to Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Stuart is survived by his wife, Linda Petereit Seidman, with whom he shared 46 years of love and devotion. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Dara Seidman Grossman, and son-in-law, David Grossman; his son, Mitchell Seidman, and daughter-in-law, Christine Jackson Seidman; his son, Adam Seidman; and his daughter, Sharryn Seidman. Stuart was a proud and cherished grandfather to five grandchildren: Zachary and Matthew Seidman, and Ian, Jared, and Alexa Grossman, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
A respected professional, Stuart was a trusted consultant to numerous healthcare companies and hospitals throughout his career. Most recently, he served as the founder and president of SAS & Associates, LLC. Yet, when asked about his greatest accomplishments, Stuart would always say, "my children." His family was his world, and his unwavering dedication to their happiness and success defined his life.
Stuart's warmth and selflessness were hallmarks of his character. He cared deeply for others, always placing their needs above his own. In retirement, Stuart continued to give back, delivering Meals on Wheels to those most in need, a testament to his generous and compassionate spirit.
Stuart loved staying engaged with the world, keeping up with current events, and sharing his insights with family and friends. He enjoyed playing poker and found joy in the simple pleasures of life, eating his daily ice cream, sipping diet coke, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Stuart’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was a source of comfort and strength, and an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Services to honor Stuart’s life will be held on Monday, December 23 at 1:00 PM at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Ave, Needham, MA.
