Stephen A. “Goldie” Goldberg of Lexington died peacefully at home with his family at his side on Tuesday, December 5th. Devoted husband of Thelma L. (Larkin) Goldberg. Loving father of Aaron Goldberg and his wife Debbie of Sarasota, Florida, Robin Naughton and her husband Michael of San Diego, California, and Sebastian L. Goldberg of New York City. Adoring grandfather of Peter, Seraphina, and Sierra. Dear brother of Rochelle (Goldberg) Ruthchild and her wife Vicki Gabriner. Beloved brother-in-law of Kenny Larkin and partner Michelle Pallotta. Fond uncle of Rafi, Katie and Kelly. Loving son of the late Ruth and Samuel Goldberg.

A generous, loving member of the community, dedicated tax accountant for fifty years, ardent supporter of his wife’s dancing family at The Dance Inn, and lifetime fan of the Boston Celtics and New York Yankees, he will be remembered as a true friend to all who knew him.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Temple Isaiah, 55 Lincoln Street, Lexington. Burial at Westview Cemetery, Lexington. A celebration of Goldie's life will be held immediately following the burial at Heritage Hall, 177 Bedford Street, Lexington. Shiva at his late residence on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and continuing on Friday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
