Our father was totally devoted to his family and deeply loved by us. We were so incredibly blessed to have him as our Dad and his passing is a profound loss to our family.
Stanley was the loving son of the late William and Anna (Kiley) Brids. He was the loving father of Lori S. Brids, Doreen M. Brids and Jeffrey W. Brids & his wife Lyn P. He was the loving grandfather “Poppio” of Jamie R. Brids. Stanley was the loving companion of Ruth Lieberman for many years. He was also the beloved brother of Charles W. & Janice A. Brids, Lawrence Brids, Barbara A. & the late James J. Cox and the late Doris L. Shaw and the late Martin R. Brids. Stanley is also survived by many other loving family members and dear friends.
A veteran of World War II, Stanley served in the United States Army Air Corps. Born in Boston, Stanley resided in Braintree for over 40 years. Prior to that, he lived in Quincy and Hingham. A graduate of the Quincy Public Schools, he went on to graduate from Bridgton Academy in Bridgton, ME. After serving in the U. S. Army Air Corps, he attended both Tufts Medical School and Suffolk Law School. Stanley owned and operated Premier Furniture Company in Quincy for approximately 50 years. An avid reader, Stanley’s interests were wide and varied. He loved using the computer and playing the violin.
Services at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA will be on Friday, March 8th at 12 noon. Friends wishing to pay condolences please arrive by 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
