Joan (Margold) Rome, of Dedham, formerly of Newton and Revere passed away on September 27, 2023 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Rome. Devoted mother of Linda Rome, Ellen Rome and her husband Gary Kielpikowski, and Charles Rome and his wife Victoria. Cherished grandmother of Ryan and his wife Emily, Evan, and Aaron.
Her greatest pleasures were her family, charitable giving and her social activities. Her smile could light up a room, and she had a wonderful zest for life.
A private funeral service will be held. A public Remembrance Gathering will take place at Newbridge on the Charles, 5000 Great Meadow Road in Dedham on Monday, October 2 from 5pm-8pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan’s memory may be made to Hebrew Senior Life.
