Howard "Howie" Eliot Goodman

Howard Eliot “Howie” Goodman, 59, of Newton on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Beloved husband of Kathleen (Fitzgerald). Devoted father of Shoshana Murphy and her husband Frank, Judith Jaynes and her husband Steven, and Joseph E. Goodman. Loving grandfather of Ciara, Cameron, Max, Hannah, and Lorelei. Dear brother of Pamela Goodman Deutsch and her husband Stuart. Adored uncle of Rebecca Deutsch.

Howard grew up with his parents and sister in both Boston and Malden, MA . He graduated Malden High School and then worked 20 hardworking years for the United States Postal Service. He settled his life in Newton, MA.

He dedicated his life to his family and it was his main priority that they were happy and taken care of. He loved his grandchildren and was proud of his children and niece.

He very much enjoyed watching Boston sports, TV shows, was an avid reader, and loved taking family vacations especially to Disney.

Graveside Services will be held at Ezrath Israel of Malden Cemetery, 50 Buxton Rd., Danvers on Wednesday, September 26 at 11AM.

Memorial Observance will be at the home of Judith and Steven Jaynes on Wednesday from 1-4PM, Thursday from 4-7PM and then on Friday from 11-2PM.
