David Stanley Wilson passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from complications due to Alzheimer’s at the age of 86 years. He was originally from Brighton, MA. He lived in Needham, MA for 30 years and then resided in Mashpee, MA and Wellington, FL.
For 59 years, he was the beloved husband of Joyce (Newman) Wilson; loving father of Charles and his wife Leslie, Steven, and Robert Wilson; adored grandfather of Haley, Olivia, Aiden, Sarah, Ari and Emerson; cherished son of the late Lottie Karp and Charles Wilson; dear brother of the late June Teplitz and step-brother of the late Richard Karp.
David was a retired advertising executive from a successful 40+ year career. He was the founder of David Wilson Associates in Needham, MA and worked there for 27 years until he retired in 2000.
He was very active at Temple Beth Shalom and Camp Bauercrest in his younger years. He was an avid golfer at Wycliffe Country Club and enjoyed nothing more than to spend time with his wife, kids and grandkids. He also loved boating and spending time on the water.
The funeral service will be at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Avenue, Needham on Monday, October 25 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA. Masks are required for anyone in attendance.
Following the burial, the family will receive visitors at Charles & Leslie Wilson’s home until 3:00 pm and continuing Monday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm and Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm.
