Having long enriched the lives of family and friends, Adrienne Martha Najarian Rabkin died on November 22, 2022. Heavily burdened by Long Covid, she was unable to regain health following successful surgery for a fractured hip.
Educated at Connecticut College and later, Simmons University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in psychiatric social work, she balanced family and professional responsibilities with excellence and grace.
Adrienne leaves her husband, Dr. Mitchell T. Rabkin, daughter Julia M. Rabkin (Richard Lappin), son David G. Rabkin (Patty Nolan), grandchildren Joshua D.R. Nolan and Alexis B. N. Rabkin; brother-in-law Ira Rabkin and wife Maryann Rabkin and family, brother-in-law William I. Rabkin and family, sister-in-law Susan M. R. Schulz and family, cousins Athena Yerganian, Arra Yerganian and family, Peter Manian and family, Samuel Manian and family, Margaret Boyajian, step grandson Andrew Lappin and family, college colleague and long-time close friend Rhoda Mann, and a host of others whose lives she enriched and who enriched hers. She was warmly admired for sensitivity to others, her font of knowledge and perspective thereon, love of reading, music, needlework, and artistic ability.
A celebration of Adrienne’s life will be held on Tuesday 29 November, 3:00 p.m. at Lasell Village, 120 Seminary Avenue, Auburndale. MA 02466.
