Jamie T Gibbins

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Church of Christ in Bridgeport with Pastor Jonathan Seng officiating.  Interment will follow at Oregon Trail Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-6 p.m. at Bridgeport Memorial Chapel.  Memorials may be given to the family to be designated at a later date.  Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.bbchapels.com.

Jamie was born on June 3, 1971 in Oshkosh, Nebraska to Curtis and Joyce (Mitchell) Gibbins. He attended school in Bridgeport.  Jamie worked for numerous farmers and implement companies.  He lived in Missouri and Texas for awhile, returning to Bridgeport.

Jamie enjoyed hunting and spending time in the outdoors, but especially loved to fish.  He never met anyone without having a conversation with.

Survivors include his mother, Joyce Gibbins of Bridgeport; sister Jody (Randy) Jensen of Bridgeport, nephew Jordan Gibbins, niece Marissa Jensen and great niece Emily; grandmother Jessie Mitchell of Oshkosh; aunts Janet (Tom) Hutson of Gainesville, TX and Tammy (Kit) Krause of Big Springs and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather, paternal grandparents and maternal great grandmother.
