Emmett was born on March 1, 1949 in Nashville, TN to Emmett Henry Webb Jr. and Ann Elizabeth Thomas. He graduated from Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. He went on to work for nexAir for over 40 years as a Welding Supplies Salesman.
Emmett married Edna Marie Caruthers in Columbia, TN, and together they had three wonderful daughters. He loved his girls very much and took pride sharing stories of their accomplishments to others. During his free time, he greatly enjoyed turkey and dove hunting activities, and was honored of his affiliation with The National Wild Turkey Federation.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Webb; daughters, Natalie (Tommy) Henley, Stephanie (Lee) Smith and Ashley (Matthew) Pierce; grandchildren, Conner Henley, Ella Pierce, Harper Pierce, and Saylor Pierce; sister, Beckie Woodmore; Brother, Mike Webb; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Emmett is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Henry Webb Jr. and Ann Elizabeth Thomas; brother, Leonard Webb.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Emmett will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Brentwood Roesch Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, TN 37027, followed by a Memorial Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery,1001 Lebanon Road Nashville, TN 37210.
