I have known my friend James for almost 60 years.  When he welcomed his first great-grandchild, I told him that he could not discuss that in public when I was around.  I told him it was too much of a leap for me to be hanging out with someone that I grew up with that had great-grand children.   We would always joke about each other’s life circumstances; James gave me plenty of opportunities over the years for that. 

James was one of the nicest, good-natured and understanding individuals that I have ever known.  His kind and generous heart was legendary.  He loved his family abundantly and would do anything for them.  He was a genuine and upstanding friend who I loved dearly.  And yes,  he was the consummate tour guide.  I could always count on him to show me all of the new things being developed in the DC area when I came back to visit.  He would show me all the changes and would give a  thorough description from his unique perspective.  I always looked forward to our tours.

To Diane, his children, his great-grandchildren, Kothia and other family members, I offer my deepest condolences and sympathy.  This is a tremendous loss for all of you.  I will miss him immensely with a sorrow that I can not describe.

James I will miss our trips to Vegas, New Orleans and the MGM Grand.  They were iconic.  May you rest in paradise.

James was a no non sense kind of guy.  He was always well dressed in the workplace at BNA, business minded and extremely helpful.  He and I were a few of the african american managers at BNA and he represented us well.  Just an all over pleasent guy that will be well missed.

To the family,  "Be not dismayed, whatever betied, God will take care of you, beneath his wings, love abide, God will take care of you"  James is in a better place and we will see him again because of the great work of Jesus.

To the Family, 
I have fond memories of Mr. Worsley. I worked with him when I was first employed at BNA.   My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.  Stay strong in the Lord during this time, He will watch over and keep you during this time.

My deepest sympathies to Diane and the Worsley family. I remember James as a kind and thoughtful friend who always had words of wisdom whenever we talked.

I have known James for almost forty-five years and in that time he has always been a very Kind, Caring and Generous Man. James demeanor was always calm and consistent. James was a Good Man and anyone who knew him could say that. James and I worked together for twenty-eight  years at BNA and he was my manager for twenty of those years.

James enjoyed life and he lived it to the fullest. James and I shared countless good time together and I will miss that. Las Vegas, North Carolina, New York and the Bahamas are only a few destinations we share together and in some cases with our families. For James, one journey Now Ends and Another Begins.  Rest In Peace My Friend.
