Taylor Elizabeth Schindler

She was a proud member of the Assiniboine & Sioux Tribes of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation out of Montana.

She is survived by her Father: Donald Gaffney Jr (Jennifer), Mother: Marcy Schindler, Stepfather: Joshua Kozey, her younger Brothers and Sisters who she adored unconditionally: Kaleigh, Jarid, Amaya, Brodie, Jaxsen and Willow, Paternal Grandmother: Elysa Gaffney, Maternal Grandparents: Phyllis Walking Eagle & Gerald Schindler; Embraced Grandparents: Tracy & Kevin Kozey and Ronald & Cheryl Anderson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins with whom she shared a special bond with each one of them.

She is proceeded in death by her Paternal Grandfather, Donald Gaffney Sr, to which she will be laid to rest with.

Taylor spent her beginning years in Belfair, WA before moving to Bremerton, WA where she graduated from high school in June of 2019. She was passionately involved with various activities including Yearbook, Leadership, Flag, Choir and Talent Shows. She had an artistic talent when it came to drawing, writing poems and singing. Shortly after graduating from high school, she started her first job as a Barista at Safeway.

Taylor was most known for her contagious laughter and her whimsical personality with which she was able to bring out the humorous side in most everyone who had the privilege of getting to know her.

When planning her future, Taylor would get lost in of the idea of working with children with special needs. She had such a caring and compassionate personality that even the most timid of children felt treasured and cherished in her presence.

In recent years, Taylor was actively involved in playing adult softball, being an enthusiastic activist at local Pride events and volunteered her time serving the community at Salvation Army, Lord’s Diner and with the Warren Avenue Peewee’s Association.

Taylor had a bright and shining soul that was taken from this Earth far too soon, but she will continue to live on in our hearts and minds from all the beautiful memories she leaves behind in each one of us.
