On October 11, 2019 Scott Allen Tweit went to be with Jesus. He was the first born of three children to his loving and caring parents Mark & Linda Tweit. He was a loving big brother to Sam and Leslie Tweit and uncle to Brittney Tweit and Justin Herrera, Curtis Singleton, Tammy Gray, Whitney Colbert, Samantha Boligao, Malea and Kehau Brewer and, Timmy and David Halican, Chai and Cartier Hill, Ariana, Olivia, Isabella Heim, Ellijsha Shine and great uncle to Jasmine, Jenna Lee, JoeJay Gray, JordanKai and Kekoa Halican, Priscilla Brewer, Gabriella and Josiah Boligao, and Godfather to Jazzmine Sherelonn Faith Coleman and Kali Jamal Collins.
Scott graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard in June of 1983 and later joined the Army in June of 1984 in the Maintenance Battalion in Fort Carson, Colorado. He worked for Morning Star Fisheries in Dutch Harbor, AK as a team leader. In May of 1990 worked as a Sand Blaster helper in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, finally ended up working for Addison Construction, starting as a warehouse worker in July of 1991, until September 2017 when he medically retired as Safety Officer and maintenance coordinator.
Scott had a profound love for family, friends, dogs and the Seattle Seahawks (GO HAWKS!!!). He had a deep appreciation for life and clean vehicles. He loved riding his motorcycle with friends or alone enjoying the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. He was a member of Peninsula Life Church in Gig Harbor.
He had a God given talent for giving pearls of wisdom at the right time. He was thoughtful, gracious and a giving person. He was a wonderful husband so much so that he earned the nickname (Scottsanova).
Scott was committed to helping people with drug and alcohol addictions and was clean and sober for 29 years.
He leaves to mourn his passing a devoted and loving wife of 24 years, Sherelonn Denise and daughter Jocelyn Tweit and affectionately called “Pa” by Tiffany Noble and a host of loving friends and relatives, his father preceded him in death. He’s gone but will never be forgotten.
