Norma N. Wilder, 88, died of acute renal failure on September 27, 2010. She was a long time resident of Mason and King Counties. She was born August 1, 1922, in Blaine, Washington.
In 1928, she moved to Belfair with her family and resided and worked miscellaneous jobs until being hired at PSNS during WWII where she worked as a tool attendant. Following the war, she shucked oysters until being hired at Boeing in 1955 and retired there in 1988 with 33 years of service.
Norma was a devout Christian and a lifetime member of the Belfair Assembly of God. She also attended the Casey Treat Faith Center in Federal Way for many years and cherished his ministry. Her hobbies included gardening, traveling, and collecting numerous keepsakes. She is survived by several nieces and nephews of Kitsap County: Linda Bourne, Carol Larson, Howard Brown, Lance Brown, Michael Brown, Ronald and Rodney Matthew, Jay Wilder, and numerous other nieces, nephews, and relatives.
