Lorraine was born and raised in Yam Hill, Ore., where she graduated at the top of her class. She later moved to Bremerton to work at Bangor during World War II. There she met and married her husband, James. He preceded her in death after 62 years of marriage.
She enjoyed working in her garden and was active in the local Elks Club. She chose to be a stay-at-home mom, but worked at Harrison Hospital for a time.
She will be missed by her three children, Dennis (Mary) of Pasco, Tom (Karen) of Bremerton, and Cindy (Dennis Marshall) of Gig Harbor. She also left behind nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren
Memorial services will be held at Miller-Woodlawn Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday, April 25th with a reception to follow.
