Jack was born on July 3, 2001 in Albany, Oregon. He was the son of Mark and Jennifer Gianotti and loving big brother to his sister Kylie Gianotti. He lived in many places while his dad was in the Marine Corps but was able to attend all years of school in Silverdale, WA. He graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 2020 and was currently a freshman at Washington State University majoring in history with the goal of becoming a high school history teacher. He had recently pledged the fraternity of Phi Kappa Tau at WSU.
Jack was a four-year member of the Central Kitsap High School football team, earning a letter three of those years. He cherished the friendships and brotherhood of his teammates and was always there to support and encourage them. Jack was the unanimous choice for the Coach’s Award his senior year.
Jack graduated with honors from Central Kitsap High School, was a Distinguished Scholar and earned the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. He was a recipient of Washington State University’s Regents Scholar Award, a four-year scholarship.
Jack loved spending time with friends playing football, video games, and skateboarding. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors with his dad. He had a strong passion for history and spent countless hours researching areas of interest including ancient history, languages, and warfare. Jack also spent time volunteering at various community organizations with his football teammates and worked part time at Red Lobster and Target.
Jack is survived by his parents, Mark & Jennifer and sister Kylie of Silverdale, WA; his “Grandma Pats,” Patricia Gianotti of Portland, OR and Patricia Burnet of Moro, OR; 16 aunts & uncles and 22 cousins. He also had two special grandpas who preceded him in death, Bill Gianotti of Bend, OR & Steven Burnet of Moro, OR.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton, WA. Jack will be interred at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Portland, Oregon next to his Grandpa Bill.
