Predeceased by her husband Elio (2015) and by her brothers, Giovanni, Americo, Antonio and Rocco. She grew up during the great depression, survived WW2 in her occupied hometown and eventually Silvana emigrated to Canada in 1951 to start a new life with her husband Elio. She was also involved with the Rossini Lodge, Pratola Peligna events and Feast of Maria della Libera. All her grandchildren loved Nonna’s cooking and baking. Her freezer was always full and ready to feed whoever showed up. She was always ready to pour an expresso or a bicchiere di vino! She was very generous and always helping others. She had good friends in her neighbourhood and brought smiles to many faces on her regular long walks. She was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved sewing, baking, cooking and her passion was her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She loved having her family around. She will be missed by many.
