Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9th, 2020 at the age of 76, with his family by his side.
Loving husband of 38 years to Shirley (nee May). Devoted Dad of Sadie (Chris), Amy (David) and Mark. Adored Grandpa of Riley, Cassidy, Emma, Rachael, Melissa, Allysa and Cameron, as well as Great-Grandpa to Jack, Markus, Ruby, Daizey and Aveena. He will be greatly missed by his sister Alice, brother Howard and many nieces and nephews. He will also be fondly remembered by Rob Westbrook. Dave will be forever remembered for his passion for the cottage, love of Hot Rods, especially his ‘69 lime green Super Bee and his favourite past time Cribbage “15-2”. Friends and family may pay their respects at the “THORPE BROTHERS’ FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL”, 96 West St., Brantford, on Monday, October 19th, 2020 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. As per current restrictions, masks and social distancing are mandatory. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be taking place.
