Ralph Wayne Colbert

Ralph Wayne Colbert, age 85, of Tampa, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Monday July 9, 2018. Ralph was born March 27, 1933 in South Bend, Indiana to Freda P. Hughey Colbert Brush and Ralph A. Colbert.

Ralph worked for Sperry Micowave Electronics Division, E Systems, St Petersburg Communty College, The Home Depot, and Cambridge Christian School (formerly Seminole Presbyterian School). He attended U. S. Army Signal School, Tampa TV Lab, Famous Writing School, and Trinity Bible College. As a veteran of the U.S. Army Ralph attained the rank of Sergeant. He was a member of Christ Central Presbyterian Church (formerly Seminole Presbyterian Church) since 1962. He was also a member of Toastmasters International.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sheila Rose Newmarch Colbert; daughter, Lenore Rose Colbert Arcaro Ball; grandsons, Ronald E. Arcaro III, Randall "Tommy" Ball; step-sisters, Shirley Papay and family, Bonnie Sittig and family; half-sister, Karen Colbert; half-brother, Jay Colbert wife, Rose and family; step-brother, Dick Brush wife, Barbara and family; niece, Cathy Key; nephews, Greg Key, Robert Key Jr. wife, April and family, Michael Key; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Newmarch wife, Linda and family.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Ralph A. Colbert; mother, Freda P. Hughey Colbert Brush; step-father, Lloyd Brush; step-mother, Helen Colbert; sisters, Doris Rodgers, Evelyn Shields; grandson, Louis E. Arcaro; granddaughter, Alena Rose Ball; and nephew, Robert Key Sr.

A visitation for Ralph will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cambridge Christian School, 6101 North Habana Avenue, Tampa, FL 33614. A funeral service will occur Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2:00 p.m., interment to follow in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
