Mark was born in Lubbock, TX, to Oscar and Sue Power. He was predeceased by two sisters, Paula and Patty. He is survived by his wife, Kari Power; his parents; his sisters, Debbie Barnes (Steve) and Connie Scarlino; his children, Britney Leigh Ware (Christopher) and Brandon Drew Power (Moxie); stepchildren Nick Robertson (Katie) and Meaghan Robertson (Brandon); 5 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and several nieces, and nephews. He loved NASCAR, college sports, especially if the Florida Gators or the Texas Tech Red Raiders were playing, and he enjoyed watching and cheering for the professional Tampa Bay teams. He was a former Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) Certified Judge and enjoyed cooking and eating barbeque. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life for Mark will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, TX.
