Maria D Tirelli

TIRELLI, Maria del Carmen S., 93, of Valrico passed away July 11, 2012. She was born in Rio Grande, Puerto, Rico. Maria earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Chicago and worked as a dietician for the state of New York. After her retirement, she earned her Juris Doctorate from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico and enjoyed working in real estate. She was active in Catholic charities, Legion of Mary, and a Eucharistic Minister. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Francesco. She is survived by her children, Rose, Frank, Maria, and Angelo Tirelli; seven grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren; sisters, Luz De Selenia and Rosalina Irizarry. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at noon, Tuesday, July 17, 2012, and again celebrated at noon, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 7001 12th Avenue S., Tampa, FL 33619. Her final resting place will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
