He was born in Frankfort, Indiana on May 14, 1978. After graduating from high school, Jeremy served as a Sheriff Deputy in several different agencies in Indiana. He then, went on to serve our country as a Specialist in the United States Army. Most recently, Jeremy proudly served our community as a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Deputy.
Jeremy is survived by his loving wife, Tina Fargo; children: Taylor, Chandler, Kaitlyn, Makayla, Hayden and Alaina; grandparents, Melvin and Peggy Arnold; Parents, Angela (Larry) D’Angelo; Uncle Danny Layton; siblings: Christen (Johnny) Manco, Dustin (Destini) Ford, Nick (Elizabeth) Ford; and many beloved nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Rodgers.
He married Tina on May 1, 2021. They combined their six children to create a beautiful life together. He was one-of-a-kind, an outstanding deputy and an even better person. He had a generous heart of gold, never hesitating to help people in need. Because he was a kid at heart, his nieces and nephews adored him along with the children of his closest friends.
Jeremy was a real life hero and will be deeply missed.
