George Thomas

George was born on April 12th, 1932 to Thomas Varghese and Rachel Thomas in Prakkanam. He moved to Koodal shortly after birth and resided there for the rest of his time in India.

After school, he worked at A.V.T Company. He worked there for almost 30 years.

In 1956, he married his wife Aleyamma George. They have four children: Rahel Kora (married to Kora Matthew), Thomas George (married to Jessy George), Annamma Johnson (married to Johnson John), and Koshy George (married to Lini Koshy). They have eight grandchildren: Jason (married to Jincy), Jimmy, Jestin, Joel, Jerin, Jefrin, Joshua, and Jasmin. They have two great-grandchildren through Jason and Jincy: Xenia and Lyanna.

After retiring, George spent his time organizing a prayer group in his home. He and his wife were prayer warriors, sharing the word to various locations and helping unbelievers receive salvation. In 2007, he and his wife moved to America to live with their children. On May 10, 2013, his wife went to be with the Lord. He then lived alone with his children until his passing.

George was predeceased by his wife, Aleyamma; his parents; his two older brothers; and one younger sister. He is survived by his younger brother, four children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
