Brenda Catherine Rodriguez

Brenda Catherine Rodriguez born Aug 18, 1952 in Bartow Fl, to Tally Weatherington & Dorothy Downing Weatherington. She graduated from Tampa Bay Tech. She married ( Dennis Rodriguez) and had 2 daughters Michelle Rodriguez ( of Orlando,FL) and Kristy Rodriguez ( of Bradenton,Fl). She was in the housekeeping industry until the failure of her kidneys. Received a donated kidney and exceeded a miracle time of life off the transplant. She prayed for that individual always because even until death, she never forgot him. She spent a majority of her life in Lake City FL where she tended to her mother until her death. Her toy poodle Sasha was her joy and her companion for 17 years (4/29/20). She loved going to Tennessee to visit family. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and loved her church family. Ms. Rodriguez took the Hand of god Thursday July 8th,2021 at Blake Medical Center in Bradenton FL following extended illness.Brenda is survived by daughters Kristy (Bryant) Rodriguez, Michelle (Isaiah) Rodriguez and grandchildren Angel and Giovanni Carrasquillo, Bryant Vega Jr and Kobi Mercer.

Special cousin Catherine Meadows and a special friend/caregiver Cythe Shiver.

Visitation will be held on July 18th 2021 at 10:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. At Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Fl
