Anna (Tina) was born March 7, 1960 to USAF Colonel Bill and Mary Ann Fanelli in Orlando, Florida. Tina spent her childhood and young adult years as a military dependent traveling with her family as they were stationed across the United States in various locations in Arizona, California, Florida, Missouri, and Virginia. After graduating from Poquoson High School in 1978, Tina attended Christopher Newport College from 1979 to 1980 where she played on the women's basketball team while she pursued her degree. Tina later joined her family in Vicenza, Italy in 1981 when her father accepted a NATO assignment. It was in Vicenza where Tina would meet and marry the love of her life, LTC(R) Paul Warren, at that time a young Soldier assigned to the local US Army Airborne Battalion. Tina and Paul were later married on April 14, 1982 in Ocala, Florida.
Tina was a remarkable woman, always thinking of family first, giving unbridled support to all who needed it, and showing love and compassion to her immediate and extended family and friends. Over the course of the next 39 years, Tina excelled in her supporting role as a military wife, mother and friend. Her numerous achievements and recognition for her volunteer work with the Officer's Wives Club at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii and Fort Benning, Georgia demonstrated that Tina was truly an Angel of God that endeared her to many.
Tina excelled as a professional in the banking industry. Hired by Branch Bank & Trust, North Carolina in 1999, Tina worked for the next 22 years rising to the level of a Bank Operations Officer. She was loved and revered by many at the bank which reflects her amazing ability for providing a level of leadership, caring and friendship to colleagues while simultaneously balancing the demands of work.
Tina also loved sports and travelling. An avid fan of the Tampa Bay Rays and Atlanta Braves baseball, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Texas Christian University Horned Frog football and baseball, she was ready to travel to any game at any time. She was also and avid supporter of her children and grandchildren's participation in a myriad of extracurricular activities including recreational and high school sports. Perhaps her favorite pastime was to travel, particularly to the beaches of Florida and the Southwest and West. Tina loved everything about the West and anything to do with horses, Western and Native American art, and Country and Western music. Her most recent trips with her family took her to Alaska and Central Texas and with her mother and sisters to Nashville for her 60th Birthday celebration. Tina was truly a country girl at heart.
Tina will be greatly missed by her family and all her friends, but it is comforting to know that she is now in heaven with the Lord our God. She will always be loved and the memories of her will be enduring. She is survived by her husband LTC(R) Paul Warren, her sons Douglas and Jarrod Warren and their families; her daughter, Rebecca Warren; her grandchildren Michelle, Amber, and Ethan Warren, and Jeffrey Cleary III. She is also survived by her father and mother, Col(R) Bill and Mary Ann Fanelli; her sisters Marie Anne Main and Rose Marie Penn and their families; her brothers Tony and Nick Fanelli; her nephews Austin and Colton Collins from the Fanelli side; her nieces Nathaniel and Ashlin Penn from the Penn side; her nieces and nephews from the Warren and Parker side Catlin Parker and Lauren Mills, Marshall, Stephen, and Timothy Parker, Zac and Alec Warren, and Adam Mills; and all of her extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins on both the Fanelli and Warren sides.
