Jeff was born on Bryan Air Force Base in Bryan, Texas and spent most of his life in the Culver Lake section of Sussex County, New Jersey. He earned an Associate of Science degree from Orange County Community College. Jeff owned and operated his own carpentry company, JR Custom Carpentry in Branchville, for many years before taking a position in Counter Sales with Dover Brake & Clutch.
A lifetime car enthusiast, Jeff was a member of the Rodfather Gang Car Club and the NHRA. His lifelong passion for cars began at a young age and he enjoyed restoring antique cars and drag racing. Jeff was an avid nature lover and enjoyed caring for the wildlife that chose to visit.
Jeff was predeceased by his parents, Walter Burnet and Carolyn Edsall (Snook) Rauscher. He is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Rauscher; his daughters, Nicole Andersen (Tor) and Christina Kinney (Justin); his grandchildren, Anya, Greta, Elsa, Elin, Savannah and Nolan; and his siblings, Dave Rauscher and Nancy Rauscher.
