Edward was born in Passaic, New Jersey on April 17, 1931 to the late Stanley and Frances Salek. Edward dedicated over 45 years to his business in construction and real estate, along with motel ownership and management in Hollywood, Florida.
Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy (Klaus) Salek.
He is survived by his son Stanley Salek and spouse, Sabine of Sonoma, CA; his son Edward J. Salek and spouse, Melissa of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren Christine, Samantha, Jonathan, and Matthew; and four nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Edward will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 from 9am to 10:30am at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St, Branchville, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will take place the same day, Friday June 7 at 11am at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 209 US-206, Branchville, NJ. Interment will follow in Branchville Cemetery.
