Dominick was born March 19, 1932 in Hoboken to the late Vincent M. and Helen (Catena) Ioele. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean conflict before being honorably discharged in 1954. From 1955 to 1993, Dominick worked for Levy’s Inc., a sporting goods store in West New York, NJ. He worked his way up to General Manager in 1976. After retiring in 1993, Dominick started a self-run office cleaning business until 2003.
In addition to his parents, Dominick was also predeceased by his wife, Angelina (Raffaele); and his brothers, Vincent and Raymond. He is survived by his son, Dominick Ioele and wife, Fran; his daughter Lisa D’Amore and husband, Michael; his grandchildren, Heather D’Amore, Dominick V. Ioele and Nicholas D’Amore; as well as his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Dominick is also survived by his companion, Elaine Cooper.
